The Artificial Intelligence and System Engineering Laboratory (AISE Lab) belongs to the School of Engineering of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete (TEI of Crete – http://www.teicrete.gr). The Technological Educational Institute of Crete, founded in 1983, is today one of the leading Technological Educational Institutes in Greece with a faculty of 350 members over 300 administrative and technical staff and approximately 15000 students.

Key persons of the AISE lab have more than 250 technical research publications in relevant areas in books, book chapters, prestigious scientific journals and refereed international conference proceedings drawing hundreds of external citations. They have organized IEEE workshops, participated in program committees of international conferences, received gold awards from corporate semiconductor industry and best paper distinctions in IEEE workshops. They have also contributed to numerous presentations, internal project reports, white papers and technical manuals and have additionally participated in ERASMUS student training, summer schools on intelligent embedded systems, industrial training seminars, and important R&D activities and accomplishments.

AISE offers quality training and consulting services and supports applied state-of-the-art applied research and development activities in the following crucial thematic areas which have significant technological impact and potential to sustain international collaboration.
